Tasting Notes

This wine has a lovely dark cherry red color with subtle warm toasty glints. The aromatic expression is clean, with notes of flowers (wild scrub) and black fruit (blackberry jam) over smoky, toasty undertones (coffee). It is luscious and wonderfully velvety, well-constructed and with the substance of a great wine, supported by the clean, spiced oak from its good aging.

Dark ruby in the glass, this wine offers blackberry, cocoa powder and crumbled sage aromas. It is smooth in the mouth, with silky tannins and black cherry, blackberry, citrus zest, milk chocolate and violet flavors that dissolve into an enduring finish.

Dark plums and black cherries with some black pepper and olives. A medium-to full-bodied Ribera del Duero, loaded with fine-grained tannins and vibrant, juicy plums. Rather tight and lengthy.
