This beautiful, deep and layered wine grown on the Hess-Persson family's mountain top property is creamy but structured, bold but nuanced and ready to either drink now or hold for quite a while. Ripe, spicy intricate aromas of blueberries, mocha, cinnamon and cream lead to a velvety mouthful of dark fruits, mint and cafe au lait as silky tannins carry it through a lingering finish. Best from 2026-2036.
A very soft and friendly red with plum and blackberry character. Medium body with medium firm tannins and a delicious finish. 80% cabernet sauvignon, 17% malbec and 3% petit verdot. Drink now.
Shows a toasty overlay, with singed vanilla coating a core of blackberry, black cherry and boysenberry paste flavors. A tug of loam and a cedary frame emerge on the finish. Offers more oomph than purity, with the toasty edge asserting itself through the finish. Best from 2023 through 2034. 6,300 cases made.
