Lewis's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark hued and seemingly impenetrable to light. Black cherries and plums mark the nose of this full-bodied wine. It's rich, thick, even almost a touch oily, supple and super ripe yet not raisined and tinged with mocha and dark chocolate on the lingering, velvety finish. It's a statement-making style that some will likely detest, while others will adore.
Sweet cherries, cassis, warm herbs, vanilla and sweet spices on the nose. It’s full-bodied with chalky tannins. Rich and creamy, with loads of sweet berries and sweet spices on the palate and onto the dense finish. Drink or hold.
