Tasting Notes

The 2021 Dolcetto d’Alba Mandorlo has notes of black cherry with scents of plum, berries and rose petals, offering a clear, graceful, and captivating nose. On the palate, you can appreciate an excellent harmony that enhances the drink-ability: crisp and fresh, however, it has a good structure, which is perfectly integrated into the wine.

More spice notes emerge, with white pepper, more fresh berries, wet stone, and pressed purple flowers. Fresh and lifted on the palate, with a bit more tension and a linear feel, it is a bit brighter as well.

The 2021 Dolcetto d'Alba Mandorlo is exquisite. Medium in body and vibrant, the 2021 impresses with its energy more than anything else. Black cherry, lavender, spice, menthol, gravel and licorice inform this decidedly nervy Dolcetto. Clean saline notes extend the resonant finish.
