Wine Advocate 92 points (Oct 2006) From aged solera, the non-vintage The Muscat (made from red grapes whereas the Tokay comes from white grapes) possesses a deeper amber color in addition to hints of molasses, caramel, and creme brulee, a wonderful, full-bodied opulence and viscosity, crisp underlying acidity, and a stunning finish. Wine Spectator 90 points (Dec 31 2005) Sweet, dense and spicy, with toffee, molasses and prune flavors that linger on the rich finish. Drink now. 100 cases imported. –HS |
